Summary:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the sustainment, optimization and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities, tools and fixtures.  Drives continuous improvement in all manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes in accordance with all regulatory, industry, customer, and company requirements. Main Duties and Responsibilities:·         Responsible for troubleshooting issues with production including CNC, waterjets, shears, punch presses, ovens, plus auxiliary equipment and making appropriate repairs.·         Ensures that existing equipment and facility operate in optimal conditions through preventative and corrective maintenance.·         Responsible to deliver process improvement and cost saving through improved tools, fixtures, equipment modification and improvements, equipment acquisitions, semi-automation of manual processes, etc.·         Works with Product Engineering, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain to aid transfer of new and existing products into Production and between facilities.Must be flexible to stay late or modify work hours, on short notice, if production deadlines  Requirements: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.
