Main Duties and Responsibilities:· Monitor incoming orders and update and manage master schedule, customer deliveries and customer expedites.· Manage internal communications with manufacturing, engineering, Sales and other support departments to effectively meet customer demands.· Analyze and approve material requisitions for each order in the MRP system.· Set standard lead times for all contracted items; quarterly reviews of individual lead times for contracts such as Boeing.· Represent Lamsco West Inc as a direct focal for customer production readiness audits.· · Inventory management and ownership; direct yearly inventory counts/audits.· Forecast material usage and manage material Min/Max, quarterly.· ·Develops and executes purchasing strategy.· Responsible for the overall resources, negotiations and purchasing of all materials.· Resolve vendor issues that may affect manufacturing and customer needs.· Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying materials.· Additional Duties, as assigned.
