Summary:Accountable for developing/sustaining the highest possible level of customer service. This position is responsible for the the day-to-day execution of the department. Create procedures for generating quotes. Divide order entry tasks among the customer service team members. Ensure that product is delivered on time. Address Establishes and builds resolutions to customer problems. Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure premier service and full customer satisfactionMain point of contact for designated customers.Build and maintain strong relationships with Customer’s point-of-contactsProcesses quotations per customer requestsProvides Engineering with required documentation related to customer requestsResolve conflicts and provide satisfactory solutions to customers in a timely mannerMaintain Customer Portals and utilize EDI Systems to retrieve information and submit account informationInterface between the customer and estimating department to provide necessary RFQ informationOversee product and service warranties to ensure customer/product resolutionLeads and finalizes customer’s questionnaires and surveys on-time for designated accountsDevelops positive relationships with existing, new and target customersSupport as necessary capture order entryAdditional Duties, as assignedTrain, mentor, manage, customer service representatives, and support personnel.Allocate and delegate department responsibilitiesAssist the President in planning and establishing business objectives.Assist the President in determining possible courses of conduct.Make final decision of quotes under $2,500Provide actual advice to customers determining the best products for the customer’s needsUse discretion and independent judgment to evaluate and sign customer documents. i.e., NDAs Requirements: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:5-8 years business and sales experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with an order entry software system.Knowledge of pricing strategies and demonstrated negotiation techniquesMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishGood phone/video conferencing skills and the ability to interact professionally with others, both internally and externallyMust have strong interpersonal skills working with internal and external customersAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to perform price comparisons that include percentage differencesHands-on approach.
